The conferences taking place during the Medic East Africa Congress 2019 have been developed to reflect the current trends and themes that are prominent in the healthcare industry for Kenya, and the surrounding East African region.
Focusing on the important topic of achieving Universal Health Coverage, two of the conferences will cover a different angle on the subject. The Healthcare Management Conference, in partnership with the East Africa Healthcare Federation, will look at discussing the policies, progress and financing; while also discussing the role that digital health has in assisting in this goal. The Public Health Conference, in partnership with the Kenya Medical Association, will include several of the medical associations based in Kenya, and each society will discuss the role they are playing in UHC.
Lastly, following on the success of last year’s conference, the Clinical Officers Association will be back to hold a one day conference to continue the important conversation on the role that Clinical Officers play in upholding a strong healthcare infrastructure.
Attend the conferences to hear more from both local and international industry leaders.
The complete agenda will be available soon.
